Psychotherapy is not my first career. Before training I worked in a variety of professions and took detours so that I could attend to the changing landscape of my life. Some of these detours were filled with joy and adventure and others with challenge and deep sadness. Having walked my own eclectic route to where I am now, I recognise the value of tailored, bespoke therapy where you are recognised as an individual.

I studied for 4 years to train as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor at The Wealden Institute of Psychotherapy. This is in addition to my BA hons, certificate in counselling skills, ASD and bereavement and palliative care.

I have developed my private practice by blending life experience and professional qualifications. This has shaped and specialised my skills and informs my professional interests.

Today, I am proud to offer private practice in Worthing and Hove. I  see individuals, couples and families, in person as well as online. People contact me for a range of different issues and sometimes these shift and adjust as their time in therapy develops.

I work in a collaborative way; in my practice therapy is not 'done to you'. Although you pay for my expertise and experience, we work together; negotiating, reviewing and consenting to the direction and interventions of your therapy.

My therapeutic expertise and interests have led me to work in a variety of settings including hospices, substance misuse, homelessness, schools, groups of parents, neurodiversity, and individuals living with enduring mental health difficulties. Below is an example of the areas that I specialise in. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
